· $$ Creation of widgets and gadgets. These can be interactive like forms, guest books, visitor counter, search engine, surveys, polls, photo slideshows, interactive calendars, links to news, weater, stock market, etc. We utilize a number of free services, but these often mean intrusive ads on your site, worse yet, they can be ads for your competitors. Why do the providers of these FREE services do this? REVENUE, pure and simple. They either get money from you for the ad-FREE premium service, or they get it from companies that buy ads with their company. If you don't want intrusive or competitor's ads on your site, then you must pay for their premium service. This can be an annual or monthly fee, we don't have any control over that.
