AZWebscapes Site Building Guidelines

Our guidelines are simple: We build *professional, affordable, easy to navigate, user friendly, family friendly sites" that can be viewed and navigated by everyone regardless of their age, profession, technological skill level or experience level as an internet user.

What are family friendly sites? Simply put, they are sites that can be viewed by everyone. If it merits anything other than an "E" (everyone) rating; if your child can't view it; if your mother can't view it; if your grandmother can't view it we won't build it. There are plenty of website builders who will, we will not.

If the site's theme or goal is to promote sexuality, immorality; provacative, offensive, derogatory, demeaning, inflammatory, intolerance, inciting, intended to promote division, is coercive, threatening, hateful, condescending or trampling on the rights or beliefs of others, or if it is socially or morally offensive or promotes questionalble or illegal products or services, we won't build it. There may be other types of sites that fall on the fringes of these reasons, and we'll assess the merits at the time we are being asked to consider building such a site. We aren't limiting your right to free speech, we're just saying we won't build sites or allow sites we build to be used as a tool to promote anything that falls within the range of things listed above. We reserve the right to make the final decision.

If the site deals with copyrighted content that the owner has not authorized in writing to use or resell (books, music, movies, software, etc), we won't build it. (Proof may be required.) If we are notified of any copyrighted material of others that appear on your site, it will be removed.

If the site is a consignment site with legal authorization to resell both new and used goods that do not infringe on copyrights, trademarks, patents and ownership laws, we will build it. (Proof may be required.)

If the site is a legitimate fundraiser that includes donations and income from fundraising events and said income is for a cause recognized, approved or sanctioned by the IRS, we will build it. (Proof will be required.)

If the site is for a business that has a product or service with a bad reputation and falls within questionable areas of legality, legitimacy, morality, perhaps has even had legal issues relative to the buisness operations, we won't build it. (Example: massage parlors, escort services, raffles, fundraisers (other than legitimate fundraisers stated above); music downloading, movie downloading, gaming/ gambling, mind altering products, anything falling within a gray area of legitimacy or within the scope of "illegal").
